Reply To: Repentance Is the Foundation
One of the first things I do even before I start a deliverance session, is to explain the importance for humility, repentance and forgiveness. People refuse to repent because of pride so without humility they might not be ready for deliverance. Repentance is not just saying words but it is turning away from that sin and walking away from it. It requires action, sometimes that action is destroying a computer or leaving ungodly relationships. It is a gift from God and shouldn’t be taken for granted. Sadly in America we rely on grace and say “ill just repent of it later” or “God knows my heart”.
Romans 6:1
What then shall we say? Shall we continue in sin so that grace may increase? Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer?
