Reply To: Repentance Verses
I love the wat Acts 3:19 puts it.
Repent, then and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.
I love the promise of refreshing from the Lord. When we are refreshed, we can flourish and Bloom for His Glory. To refresh is to reinvigorate, revive, restore and fortify. When the Lord brings refreshing, he revives and breathes life into us again as in the dry bones. As a believer, I sometimes feel dry, worn out, double minded. I can hold on to this promise that as I sit before the Lord to be led in repentance that I will be refreshed!
