Hello everyone. My name is Nicholas Giagnoni. I live in a town called Lake in the Hills, IL (a one hour drive northwest of Chicago). I am happily married, and my wife and I have one daughter together. We are Torah-observant Christians, which simply means that we keep the Sabbath, biblical feasts and observances, and as many of the instructions given by Abba Father YHWH in the “old testament” as possible. This lifestyle has been a huge blessing to us. Of course we also love and have huge appreciation for our master and savior Yeshua, Jesus Christ. He is the Way and the Truth and the Life, and no-one comes to the Father but thru Him (John 14:6).
As a child I attended catholic church, and in my early twenties I spent some time in a baptist church. I’ve felt the Holy Spirit and a connection to God from my youth, but with that said, I was pretty lost in my twenties and early thirties. I got into psychedelic plants, which lead to me studying ayahuasca shamanism in the peruvian amazon. I was into magic, witchcraft, the occult, all of that stuff. I was not living in the Word at all. As deceived as I allowed myself to become, somewhere in myself I held onto God throughout all of that, and Praise God He held onto me.
About 4.5 years ago all of the difficulties of the occult lifestyle were crescendoing on me and I was finding it difficult to manage. I got connected with a bad group of people, and I was no saint myself, making bad choices and hurting others along the way. It was dark times in my life for sure. One night in a dream I was about to open a doorway to some really negative things that awaited me, when Yeshua appeared to me in that place. I am very lucky. Much of the darkness I was dealing with was wiped away that night. Yeshua saved me! Praise Him and praise God!
So, I came into God’s light and left all of that other stuff behind. Since then my family and I have been becoming progressively more involved in bible studies, our relationship with God, righteous living and deliverance. We’ve explored some local churches, we’ve been involved in some online Christian communities, and for some time we hosted a home bible study on Sunday mornings. My wife, daughter, and I were baptized in October of 2019.
We’ve been curse-breaking and seeking deliverance and thru the power and grace of God, life has been getting better as we go. Again, thanks and praise be to God for that! – Of course, there are still plenty of life challenges and work to do, deliverance and healing to be had. We’ve had a few sessions with Pastor Bob Larson (I’m a graduate of his International School of Exorcism), which have been a big help. I also recently had a zoom session with Pastor Mark which was very good and really helped me turn the corner on something I’d been dealing with. We’re looking forward to meeting Pastor Mark (and Pastor Jana) in a few weeks for an in-person session, and for the chance to attend his public deliverance. (Note: I was referred to Pastor Mark by someone with a very similar background to mine, who got a lot of help through the combination of working with him as well as Pastor Bob Larson – his testimony meant a lot to me).
Through working with deliverance ministers, prayer and fasting and self-deliverance, God has been healing my family little-by-little, just as He promised to do in Deuteronomy 7:22. I have a huge appreciation and passion for deliverance ministry ~ I love seeing myself, my family and others get set free! I hope to become better trained and experienced, and to potentially help others with inner-healing and deliverance in the future. I’m grateful to be here now at Invicta University and to be part of the community.
God bless you all ~ Nicholas
