The God we serve is great. A parallel can be drawn of 1 Peter 5:7 to Psalm 55:22:
Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
The Lord loves us, and will sustain and strengthen us through all our battles against the enemy. In Jesus, we have already taken the victory. Hallelujah!
