Reply To: Repentance Verses
My favorite verse is sort of different, it’s Roman 12:1-2 ( NIV )
Romans 12:1-2 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
The reason why is because for many Christians including myself I believe most of our sins are inward in our hearts and minds even when we are sitting in the pews of the church and that this is the hardest one to fulfill. These two verses remind me to try again each day because it’s an on-going process.
