Remember that during Deliverance Counseling (DC), we teach the PRM that after they repent and trust in Jesus, they have a new identity–they are now the righteousness of God {2 Corinthians 5:21). So while we as Christians sin every day, we are not IDENTIFIED as being sinners. It is no longer our IDENTITY. Our new identity is that of the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD. Repentance is the key to becoming the righteousness of God! The demons hate the fact that we are the righteousness of God!
