Reply To: Repentance Is the Foundation
The first thing that comes to my mind regarding repentance is God’s mercy toward sin. I describe repentance as God’s loving eraser. It erases sin and allows individuals to have a fresh start. I appreciate the correlation of repentance and the infilling of the Holy Ghost. One of my favorite scriptures relating to this is
1.Acts 2:38- Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
